Large Oil Trading Company is looking for a shipping and maritime lawyer. This is a perfect opportunity for a strong candidate to launch his/her legal career with a leading oil trading company. Responsibilities Legal support of business in drafting, reviewing, commenting different contracts (development, purchase, etc) for local and external markets under English/International/Russian law; Support on capacity check of international counterparties, including check of authorities of the signatories in multinational jurisdictions; Ongoing legal support of general business activity of the company (NDAs, service agreements, etc). Shipping and Maritime law (demurrage disputes with the shipowners and counterparties; Charter-parties; etc.); International arbitration if required Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in law from a top Russian university; 4+ year PQE relevant legal experience (after obtaining higher education); Good command of English contract law and Russian civil law; Crucial expertize in shipping and Maritime law (demurrage disputes) Background in drafting contracts; Ability to manage multiple tasks; Ability to prioritize workflow while adhering to deadlines; Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work; Fluent English (both oral and written); Advance computer skills.
