Key accountabilities: Daily planning and coordination of voyages of vessels in charge Sending and handling voyage instructions Nomination of agents in port of calls, Straits and Canals PDAs and FDAs checking Control over bunker consumption, replenishment and procurement. Monitoring vessels' cargoes Voyage planning with a view on safety, voyage cost optimization and improvement of TCE Monitoring vessel’s speed and consumption performance daily Making sure NOR is tendered in line with Charter Party terms Authorizing the release of cargo against Owners LOI wording or Charter Party agreed LOI Arranging on-hire, off hire, cargo, bunker surveys Operate and be responsible for the end-to-end management of all allocated vessels’ shipping operations matter Experiences: At least 5 years’ experience as Operator of Voyage/ Time Charter vessels, minimum 5 vessels at a time Commercial Maturity/Shipping or Economic studies Fluent in English essential, with other languages an advantage Sea-going experience desirable but not essential Proficient in use of technology particularly Excel, Word, Shipping system Previous experience in Oil Tanker Operations or similar is an asset Other skills: Customer focused and relationship building with key accounts (Internal Customers and Shipowners) Accountability and strong sense of ownership, team play and collaboration.
