AhaPay is a fintech company focused on providing innovative Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) solutions. We are dedicated to helping merchants increase their sales by offering flexible payment options to their customers. Our customer-centric approach is at the heart of everything we do, and we are looking for a passionate Head of Sales to join our team and help expand our merchant network in Malaysia. Key Responsibilities: ● Lead and develop a team of Sales Agents and Client Success Managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight to ensure success ● Identify and prospect high-potential merchants within the retail industry, with a focus on sectors such as fashion, accessories, sportswear, beauty, home and lifestyle, automotive, and outdoor gear ● Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, steering leads from initial contact through to executed agreements ● Conduct on-site visits to offline retail stores in malls and other strategic locations, presenting AhaPay’s BNPL solutions to secure merchant partnerships ● Lead contract negotiations with merchants, ensuring mutual understanding and agreement on all terms and conditions ● Partner with the marketing team to leverage promotional tools and campaigns that enhance sales outreach and engagement ● Effectively use CRM and lead generation tools to track progress, manage client relationships, and maintain timely follow-ups ● Achieve and surpass sales targets, measured by the successful signing of new merchant agreements Qualifications: ● Demonstrated experience in B2B sales, particularly within the retail and commerce sectors; background in fintech or payment solutions is a plus ● In-depth knowledge of Malaysia’s retail landscape, with expertise in key sectors such as fashion, apparel, accessories, sportswear, and outdoor goods ● Proven ability to operate independently in a field-based role, with strong time management and organizational capabilities ● Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with a talent for building and sustaining relationships with key stakeholders ● A degree or qualifications in Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory What We Offer: ● Competitive base salary complemented by a commission structure for surpassing KPIs ● Full access to CRM systems, lead generation tools, and marketing resources to enhance sales performance ● Opportunities for career growth, including the potential to expand business operations across additional cities in Malaysia and cross-border ● A dynamic, customer-focused work environment that emphasizes innovation, collaboration, and personal growth ● Coverage of travel expenses and mobile Company Culture: At AhaPay, we believe in putting our customers first and delivering the best possible service to our users.
