SKOLKOVO School of Management is seeking to recruit a Research Assistant to conduct research on project management. The successful candidate will assist a professor of business practice in preparation of academic articles and teaching materials.We are particularly interested in candidates with a background in project management and/or education in management, communications or journalism. Responsibilities: Research (40%): Contribute to and potentially co-author scholarly and practice-oriented articles targeting academic journals and business executives; Be involved in all phases of research projects (design, data collection, analysis, write up, dissemination); Monitor and analyze various information sources on project management, including PM standards, business publications and reviews, academic articles. Development of teaching materials (40%): Conduct literature review on selected topics and organize content into teaching slide decks; Conduct interviews and gather information from open sources to develop teaching cases; Assist with case writing and teaching. Translation (20%): Translate, if necessary, academic articles from English to Russian. Qualifications/requirements: Bachelor‘s or Master’s degree majoring in management; Excellent organizational, writing and interpersonal skills; Comfort in understanding and summarizing academic research. Being able to explain academic findings in plain language; Proven evidence of writing skills. Publication portfolio will be an advantage; Ability to work both independently and collaboratively; Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (C1-C2); Background in project management will be a strong advantage.
