Key Tasks: Develop/ refresh current principles for portfolio differentiation taking into account shopper profile and needs, customer strategy and monitoring principles to ensure price stability on the market (to secure customer margin) Develop portfolio solutions for each PO1 category which are in line with principles, ensure market competitiveness and contribute to PEP SOM ambition across channels Long-term vision (3 years +): several scenarios Short-term (1 year): several scenarios Constantly monitor categories environment across channels and adjust solutions if needed Observe how other brands across FMCG industry approach differentiation, leverage best practice if applicable Partner with marketing & Perfect Store to ensure differentiation solutions are in line with the strategy Support sales team “selling” differentiated portfolio to customers (selling story, participate in negotiations) Set up internal cross functional process: To align on differentiated solutions with customer team leaders/ PS/ Marketing /SC To land differentiated portfolio in key channels on time Identify Mix ‘Drags & Drivers’ within the differentiation portfolio and provide clear recommendations on the most optimal commercial strategy and gameplan to drive PepsiCo Mix and customer profitability Act as a center of Differentiation excellence for the organization Be ready to address challenges / rejections both internally and externally (with customer) Provide strategic guidance on key directions in differentiation Take responsibility for creating new processes to land differentiated portfolio Share Commercial and more competitive market perspective to build altogether with Sales Teams effective portoflio Ideal candidate should have: Minimum +5 years experience preferably from top tier consulting or within a top FMCG player preferably within beverages/foods Recent cross functional capabilities: Commercial, NRM, Business Development, Finance, Insights, Marketing and Innovation etc. Strong in Category, Portfolio and Revenue Management analyses In depth understanding of the RU retail environment Analytically strong with ability to sort through multiple data sources Strong persuasion and influencing skills – cross-functional and at Senior leadership team level Flawless oral and written presentation skills Strong leadership and change management skills Ability and the desire to redesign processes and systems to create more efficiencies within the team Self starter with ability to make decisions and act autonomously Influencing without direct authority Experienced user of Excel and PowerPoint - must Excellent time and project management skills Ability to think broadly and objectively to grow the business with a problem solving mindset
