PURPOSE OF ROLE: Develop and Implement Sourcing Strategies: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive sourcing strategies across various categories, focusing on long-term value creation and risk mitigation. This includes market research, spend analysis, supplier identification, and negotiation of favorable contracts. Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and innovation. Conduct regular performance reviews and develop strategies to improve supplier performance and ensure alignment with our business objectives. Negotiate and Manage Contracts: Negotiate complex contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that protect the company's interests. Manage contract compliance and performance, identifying and resolving any issues that arise. Market Intelligence and Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies in sourcing and procurement. Leverage market intelligence to identify opportunities for cost savings and innovation. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track key performance indicators related to sourcing activities, such as cost savings, supplier performance, and contract compliance. Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate progress and identify areas for improvement. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders across various departments to understand their needs and ensure alignment with sourcing strategies. Financial Analysis: Provide together with PPM analytics reporting on actual volumes/ prices and variances vs budget. Requirements: Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives and transformational projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop effective strategies. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and work effectively with people at all levels. Ability to see and understand end-to-end processes, cross boundary dependencies; Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively; 5-6 years hands-on experience in procurement required; English language – Upper-Intermediate or higher; Excellent negotiation and communication skills; Higher education.
