A shipping company that provides international transportation services is looking for a Financial Controller. Responsibilities: Interact directly with the technical managers of the vessels on the volumes of work and control the work budgets and costs Check the invoices provided by the technical manages to make sure all the services are provided in accordance with plans of work and budgets Work closely with accounting team to make sure all the invoices and supporting documents are provided correctly and paid in time Implement effective cost control measures for fuel, maintenance, dry-docking, insurance, and other operational expenses. Monitor and manage operational budgets, ensuring effective cost control, especially in areas related to vessel operations, maintenance, and crew costs. Analyze financial performance related to the oil tanker fleet. Requirements: 5–7 years of financial management experience, preferably within the shipping, logistics, or oil & gas industries. Track record of managing budgets, financial forecasting, and cost control in a complex operational environment. Advanced Excel skills and the ability to manipulate large sets of financial data. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. The company offers: Competitive compensation package.
