Baimskaya Management LLC is looking for potential candidates for the position of Risk Management Specialist in our Moscow office. Structural division: Risk Management Section Report to: Risk Management Section REQUIREMENTS: MA degree or its equivalent from one of the top universities (preferred specialization: economics, finance, political science); At least 1-3 years of experience at Risk Management (Forensic, Due diligence, Counterparty screening) BIG 4 experience is an advantage; Preferable if worked in the project management environment for large projects and International Companies; Exceptional research skills, skills in usage of various information sources, including corporate and media databases (SPARK Interfax, X Compliance, Factiva. Mastery of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) RESPONSIBILITIES: Scheduled and ad hoc comprehensive audits, transactions audits of business operations of structural divisions; Control over the reliability of accounting of funds, inventories, and fixed assets that become available to the enterprise, timely recording in the accounting statements of transactions related to their movement, correspondence of cost estimates to source documents. Participation in in-house investigation to identify the persons involved in causing material and economic damage to the enterprise Analyzing the counterparties’ operations, due diligence, reviewing a counterparty in terms of tax risks, financial and credit risks, as well as a commercial attractiveness of a potential cooperation. Screening of business partners for probability to be placed on sanctions lists (individual and sectoral). Pre-employment screening Gathering information from public sources, verifying the information declared by an applicant to a position and taking a decision whether the applicant is trustworthy and it is appropriate or not appropriate to employ him/her. Comprehensive analysis of the internal control system, revenue mix and cost structure, reliability of reporting. Determining a market price for an entity and similar enterprises, risk assessment depending on the purpose of purchase: to engage in the existing business area, further switch to other area of activity (fully or partly), integrate with existing business of the Company. Following the results of work done to prepare a report on appraisal of business, and company assets Search for and processing of public information: search for data on specific subjects, legal entities and individuals. Preparation of regular reports (mainly in English) on the activity results.
