General Practitioner/Deputy to Medical Director to London based clinic (relocation to the UK) Full-time role. About VisitHealth:VisitHealth is a private healthcare provider operating across Greater London since 2017, with a flagship clinic located in West Kensington. We are currently seeking a General Practitioner/Deputy to the Medical Director for a permanent role, offering relocation to London, UK. What We Expect:A skilled and experienced candidate with a relevant medical degree and 10+ years of experience in clinical practice, preferably in a leadership or managerial role. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in primary care and be capable of managing both clinical duties and administrative responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Clinical Practice (adult and pediatric): Provide high-quality, patient-centered care, including diagnosing, treating, and managing a variety of medical conditions in accordance with best practices: Ambulatory Care: Provide outpatient care to both children and adults, whether in-clinic, at home, or through online consultations. Diagnosis and Treatment: Manage a wide range of medical conditions and pathologies, ensuring accurate diagnosis and treatment plans. Chronic Disease: Offer comprehensive support and care for chronic patients, ensuring continuity of care and regular follow-up. Family Medicine: Provide personalized care to membership patients, focusing on long-term health and preventive care for families. Preventive Services: Conduct preventive consultations, organize, and perform comprehensive check-ups to maintain patient well-being. Electronic Medical Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records, ensuring thorough documentation of all patient interactions. Patient Coordination: Facilitate continuity of care by coordinating referrals and follow-ups with other specialists as needed. Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality care by overseeing clinical standards, auditing patient care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. Operational Support: Assist with the day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring effective resource allocation, managing patient flow, and contributing to the development of new services. Act as the Deputy to the Medical Director, assisting with strategic planning, policy development, and implementation of clinical guidelines. Team Management: Support the management of a multidisciplinary team, offering guidance, mentoring, and training to medical staff to foster a collaborative and efficient working environment. Promote a positive patient experience by ensuring excellent communication and coordination of care across the clinic and other services. Stay updated with the latest medical advancements and participate in continuous professional development to maintain a high standard of care. Participation in Expert Panels: Contribute to the clinic's expert council, sharing insights and best practices to improve patient care. Publications and Conferences: Engage in continuous professional development through research publications and active participation in medical conferences. Key Requirements: Medical Degree: A recognized medical qualification, GP registration and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) in the UK or eligibility to obtain GMC registration. Experience: At least 10 years of clinical practice experience, with a strong background in general practice and experience in a leadership role or as a deputy. NHS/UK Private Sector Knowledge: Previous experience working within the NHS or private healthcare sector in the UK is highly desirable. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Leadership and Management: Proven ability to lead a clinical team, with skills in mentoring, conflict resolution, and performance management. Problem-Solving Ability: A proactive approach to solving clinical and operational challenges, ensuring a smooth and efficient delivery of care. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a new healthcare environment and work effectively within the UK’s regulatory framework. Right to Work: Eligibility to work in the UK or willingness to undergo the necessary visa application process with employer support.
