We are launching a niche new perfume brand. As we expand into European markets, particularly in Spain, we are looking for a creative and strategic SMM and Community Lead to manage our social media presence and grow our brand community in this key market. Position Overview: The SMM and Community Lead will be responsible for managing and growing the brand’s social media channels, creating engaging content, and building a loyal community of brand advocates in Spain. This role requires a deep understanding of social media trends, audience engagement strategies, and the ability to craft compelling content that resonates with the Spanish market. You will work closely with the global marketing team to localize the brand’s voice and messaging, while ensuring consistency with our luxury positioning. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute a localized social media strategy for the Spanish market, with a focus on increasing brand awareness, engagement, and community growth. • Create and manage content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.), aligning with the brand’s aesthetic and tone of voice. • Engage with the brand’s community by responding to comments, messages, and fostering conversations that drive meaningful connections with the audience. • Collaborate with the global marketing team to adapt international campaigns for the Spanish audience, ensuring cultural relevance and market fit. • Identify and establish relationships with key influencers and content creators in Spain to amplify brand presence. • Organize and manage community events, online campaigns, and brand activations that resonate with the local audience. • Monitor social media trends, insights, and competitor activity in Spain, using this data to adjust strategies and optimize content performance. • Report on key metrics such as follower growth, engagement rates, and community sentiment, and use this data to continually improve social media efforts. • Stay up-to-date with emerging social media trends and platforms to keep the brand at the forefront of digital innovation. Requirements: • Proven experience as an SMM Manager or Community Lead, ideally within luxury, beauty, or lifestyle sectors. • In-depth knowledge of the Spanish social media landscape, including cultural nuances and trends. • Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to create engaging and culturally relevant content in Spanish. • Experience in building and nurturing online communities, with a passion for fostering brand loyalty and engagement. • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple platforms and campaigns simultaneously. • Creativity and a strong eye for visual aesthetics, with the ability to maintain the luxury positioning of the brand. • Experience working with influencers and content creators in the Spanish market. • Fluency in Spanish and English. • Experience in analyzing social media metrics and reporting on performance to optimize content and engagement strategies.
