Overview: We are looking for a talented Content Writer/Content Manager to join our team and drive the creation of search engine optimized (SEO) content for our Tax & Accounting websites. The ideal candidate will have experience writing high-quality, engaging content with a strong focus on SEO and be skilled at building and updating pages using WordPress, with additional knowledge of Webflow and Squarespace. Key Responsibilities: Content Writing: Write and edit SEO-friendly content for Tax & Accounting related websites. Develop engaging, well-researched blog posts, articles, landing pages, and other web content that improves organic search rankings. Ensure content aligns with SEO best practices, including keyword research, meta tags, and optimized headlines. Content Management & Page Creation: Build and update web pages using WordPress (primary), Webflow, and Squarespace. Ensure web pages are well-organized, mobile-responsive, and optimized for user experience and SEO. Coordinate with web developers and designers to create visually appealing and high-performing web pages. SEO Optimization: Conduct regular content audits and refresh existing content to improve SEO performance. Collaborate with the SEO team to implement on-page SEO strategies, such as optimizing internal linking structures and keyword placement. Use analytics tools to track content performance and make data-driven improvements. Content Planning: Plan and manage a content calendar to ensure consistent publishing of new content. Collaborate with the marketing and web development teams to align content with broader business goals and strategies. Stay updated on the latest SEO and content marketing trends to continually improve content quality. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with the SEO, web development, and marketing teams to ensure content is optimized for both search engines and users. Provide regular updates and reports on content performance and project progress. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field. Proven experience in content writing, preferably with a focus on Tax & Accounting or related industries. Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with content optimization. Experience with WordPress (priority), Webflow, and Squarespace for page building and content management. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus. Familiarity with SEO tools like Google Analytics, Ahrefs, or SEMrush. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Preferred Skills: Experience with content management systems (CMS), particularly WordPress. Familiarity with tax and accounting terminologies is a plus. Basic knowledge of web design principles and UX/UI is advantageous.
