The Production Analytics Manager will play a key role in providing comprehensive analytical support for capital projects within a leading gold mining company. This role will focus on the planning, monitoring, and evaluation of production processes related to the development and implementation of capital projects. Responsibilities: Collect, analyze, and interpret production data to support capital project initiatives. Develop and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) across various projects. Support the annual Business and Strategic Business planning processes. Prepare detailed analytical reports to assist management in decision-making processes. Ad-hoc analysis and requests related to production and projects. Conduct cost-benefit analyses and financial modeling to evaluate the viability of capital projects. Assess risks, performance metrics, and progress of ongoing projects to ensure alignment with corporate objectives. Identify inefficiencies in production processes and recommend improvements to enhance productivity. Work closely with engineering, operations, and project management teams to implement best practices. Utilize predictive analytics to forecast future production outcomes and assess potential risks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and supply chain, to ensure data accuracy and alignment with strategic goals. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics or production management within the mining or heavy industry sector. Prior experience in capital projects is highly desirable. Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau). Strong knowledge of financial modeling, production metrics, and statistical analysis. Advanced presentation and visualization skills, as well as excellent MS Power Point skills (Think-Cell add-in is a plus). Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders. The desire to develop and be open to new knowledge. Fluent in Englsih.
