MTS AI is seeking a Senior Research Engineer to join our Computer Vision team.Our team focuses on fundamental and applied research, with a special focus on developing deep learning methods, models, and tools for computer vision related tasks. The role of the research engineer will be to conduct research on Computer Vision and Machine Learning, develop methods and tools, design and prototype solutions. You will work with a fast-growing team of experienced and highly-skilled scientists and engineers to tackle some of the most challenging problems in those fields. Further, you will have the opportunity not only to publish your ideas in top-tier ML and CV international conferences but also to integrate them in products that will improve the experience of millions of users of MTS. Roles and Responsibilities: Conduct research in Computer Vision and Deep Learning with particular focus on video understanding and foundational models Explore new methods that will be applied to solve ambitious and complex problems related to visual representation learning, video understanding and video question-answering Be self-motivated and have the ability to propose and implement novel ideas Solid understanding of various CV and ML applications, such as image classification, object detection, semantic image segmentation, image captioning etc. Write reports and deliver presentations to internal and external audiences Contribute to library and tool development to support research and business Publish novel and innovative research outcomes in international ML/CV conferences and journals Required Qualifications and Skills: You hold or are currently pursuing a MSC/PhD degree in computer science or a related field Strong background in Applied Math, Linear Algebra, Calculus, Numerical Optimization, Statistics Prior experience in computer vision tasks such as semantic image segmentation, object detection, image captioning, video content classification, video analysis for surveillance, etc. Solid programming skills in Python, C/C++, and/or CUDA Working experience with deep learning libraries, such as Pytorch (preferable), TensorFlow, MXNet, etc. Ability to present and communicate your research in a clear and precise manner Critical thinking skills with a detail-oriented mindset Have a good level in spoken and written English What will you get from us: 5/2, partial or full remote working scheduling, flexible start of the day Fixed monthly salary + quarterly bonuses Comfortable office 5 minutes walk from the metro station Medical insurance with dentistry, travel insurance, life insurance, discounts on car insurance, etc. Participation in conferences and meetups, trainings at the expense of the company Free mobile communications Annual paid leave - 31 days Special offers and discounts from MTS partnersПохожие вакансии
