Head of Internal Infrastructure

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Team Lead to lead our technology infrastructure operations at our quantitative trading firm. This essential role involves managing our internal technology systems, system architecture, and the quality of infrastructure services that support our HFT strategies. Responsibilities Ensure the smooth operation of company cloud and on-premise infrastructure services, including Git, Jira, Artifactory, VPN, and more; Promote effective communication and collaboration among various teams and departments; Develop thorough documentation for internal processes; Coordinate with users to effectively address their needs and concerns; Establish and maintain testing environments for operational purposes; Build a skilled team from the ground up to support internal infrastructure needs; Implement and enforce best practices across all internal infrastructure operations; Requirements Over 5 years of proven experience in managing internal infrastructure and services; Demonstrated expertise in implementing and enforcing best practices in infrastructure management; Strong leadership skills with the capability to manage a team of technical professionals in a fast-paced trading environment; Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset to drive IT infrastructure decisions that impact trading performance; Proficiency in comprehensively documenting processes and procedures; Fluent English. Will be a plus BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Experience in management of IT infrastructure, designing and implementing infrastructure solutions in the financial industry, especially in HFT or algorithmic trading environments; Expertise in network administration, system architecture, and performance optimization for high-frequency trading systems; Knowledge in network administration, system architecture, and performance optimization for HFT systems.
