At the moment we are looking for an Operations Director (Сonstruction) for our client - a construction Oil&Gas company operating in Saudi Arabia. Position OverviewThe Operations Director (CEO-1) will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring efficiency, quality, and productivity. They will also be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Resposnibilities: Oversee and manage daily operations across departments, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow with all projects Company has; Develop, implement, and optimize operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs; Lead, mentor, and supervise team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment; Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to improve operational performance; Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies; Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Finance, Sales, HR, Procurement) to align operations with business goals; Manage budgets, inventory, and resource allocation effectively; Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency; Handle vendor and supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and managing procurement processes; Prepare and present operational reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations; Plan, develop and supervise civil engineering projects; Coordinate and direct construction, operations and maintenance activities; Ensure projects meet quality standards and are completed on time and within budget; Evaluate the performance of civil engineering staff and provide guidance and technical advice; Monitor industry trends and developments and recommend changes to improve processes and service. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Cost Controller project, Operations Management, or a related field (master’s degree is a plus); Proven experience as an Operations Manager/Director in Construction company or in a similar role (minimum 9 years preferred); Experience working in contruction company in Oil&Gas industry; Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously; Knowledge of industry regulations and standards; Skills in Project Management, Budget Management, Construction Contracting, Risk Management, Design and Development, Engineering Documentation; English - fluent (necessarily); Readiness for relocation and business trip within Saudi Arabia (50%).
