Our client is a rapidly growing company in the EdDev sector, specialising in comprehensive educational solutions (STEM). The business is part of a high-tech holding structure with over 20 years of experience in both the Russian and global markets. Currently, the company is expanding and setting ambitious new goals, leading to the creation of a new position: Commercial Director. The mission of this role will be to develop and implement a strategy for scaling the business internationally. Company size: 50+ employees Sales team: 7 members Reporting: to the Executive Director Responsibilities: Development and delivery of the company's commercial strategy for the Russian, CIS, and international markets, with a focus on MENA and India Managing sales/BDM teams across Russia, the CIS, and other international markets Organising meetings and negotiations with federal and regional government authorities, heads of governments, and ministries to promote the development of technological education in schools Initiating comprehensive educational projects in the field of technological education for schoolchildren in Russia, the CIS, and beyond. Your profile: Experience as a Commercial Director/Director of Business Development in B2B and B2G sectors is a must Proven track record in executing large deals (from 50 million RUB) with government organizations (ministries) and private schools in Russia, CIS & MENA Skilled in negotiating with top-level officials, including heads of Russian federal subjects, government leaders, and heads of federal/republican agencies responsible for education Proficiency in English at C1 level Understanding of the principles and legal frameworks governing school education in Russia and abroad.
