Altenar is a provider of sportsbook services to licensed gaming operators. Ranging from ‘software-only’ product offers to the provision of a fully-managed sports betting platform stack, Altenar offers proven stability coupled with a flexible and personalised service. Our software is developed and operated in-house, whilst being powered by premium quality data feeds. We are seeking a highly skilled PostgreSQL Database Engineer \ DBA to join our team. The position implies working hand-by-hand with the various technical teams to build and support reliable and scalable solutions at Altenar. The responsibility area requires a deep understanding of data structuring and experience in developing and administering PostgreSQL and some experience with MS SQL databases. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain PostgreSQL databases Optimize database performance through query optimization, indexing, and tuning Monitor and troubleshoot database-related issues and provide solutions Work with developers to ensure database design meets application requirements Manage database security, backup, and recovery procedures Collaborate with other IT professionals to implement database solutions Support highly-available systems in constantly growing workload environments Continuously updating core knowledge and skills in the RDBMS area Contributing and maintaining documentation for the solutions provided What we expect from you: 3+ years of experience in RDBMS administration Expertise in SQL query optimization, performance tuning, and monitoring Knowledge of high-load systems and experience in design and implementation Experience in configuring PostgreSQL for the performance patterns Experience in building CI / CD Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other team members Proficient in spoken and written English Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field Benefits: Good compensation Health insurance Gym discount Corporate English lessons Modern comfortable offices in Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Vladimir or remote work Monthly compensation for electricity and the Internet Multinational team with experts around the world Participating in professional events and corporate eventsПохожие вакансии
