Are you a skilled legal professional with a passion for fintech? Join our team as a Lawyer, where you’ll play a vital role in safeguarding our business interests, ensuring compliance, and driving strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities Legal Advisory: Provide timely, accurate advice on regulatory, corporate, and contractual matters. Documentation: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, NDAs, terms of use, powers of attorney, and more. Legal Research: Conduct research across diverse jurisdictions, including offshore legislation. Risk Mitigation: Analyze contracts, business processes, and solutions to identify and mitigate legal risks. Representation: Advocate for the company before government agencies, banks, customers, and other counterparties. Compliance: Monitor legislation, ensure regulatory adherence, and maintain organized legal and regulatory records. Strategy Development: Implement and oversee business legal strategies, including product contract schemes. Mandatory Requirements Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law from an accredited institution. Experience: 3–5 years in legal practice, including 2+ years in corporate security, compliance, or risk management. Expertise: In-depth knowledge of fintech regulations (payment services, cryptocurrency, data protection). Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Russian (minimum B2 level), with strong legal drafting abilities. Skills and Expertise Familiarity with legal systems in Canada, Latvia, Czech Republic, and Singapore. Advanced legal drafting and negotiation skills. Strong command of fintech-specific legal and regulatory landscapes. Proficiency with legal research tools and experience in handling M&A deals. Leadership skills with a capacity for team management or mentoring. Personal Qualities Integrity: Upholds confidentiality and ethical standards. Attention to Detail: Meticulous in reviewing legal documents and processes. Proactivity: Identifies challenges and addresses them proactively. Collaboration: Works effectively within diverse teams. Working Conditions Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Riga time). Remote Engagement: Flexibility to work from anywhere. Agreement Type: Service-based.
