We are currently looking for an Director of Rooms Division to join our team at Corinthia Hotel St. Petersburg. Director of Rooms Division is responsible for the efficient and effective leadership and operation of the Rooms Division teams delivering excellent guest experiences within set standards and guidelines. Scope and Purpose You will support the General Manager, and Rooms Division HODs in ensuring a smooth, profitable operation within the hotel. You will take the lead in outlining the Rooms Division vision and overseeing strategic projects. You will assist in setting and achieving targets and budgets to maximize room occupancy at best rates as well as reducing costs and improving profitability within the Rooms Division operation. You will oversee and direct the Rooms Division, supervising and developing the team, ensuring that guest needs are met or exceeded, and that all Company standards are upheld. Reporting to: General Manager. Direct reports: Front of House Manager and team, Executive Housekeeper and team Ideal Candidate 2-3 years working as Rooms Director/Rooms Division Manager in a hotel of similar size and star rating. Strong background in hospitality management (5-10 years) in one or more key operating functions including Rooms Division, Front Office, Revenue/Reservations or Housekeeping Previous experience managing multiple teams. A Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related discipline is an added advantage. Verbal and written fluency in Russian, English and ideally an additional language. Fully conversant in Front Office operations. Knowledge and experience in budgeting and forecasting. Knowledge of property management systems (e.g. Micros/Fidelio, Opera, etc.). Additional training in role relevant areas such as Leadership, Finance, Coaching, Complaint Handling, Interview Skills etc. Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills Benefits include A chance to join high performing team.
